While my memory is being sharpened by writing a memoir, I am aware that my sister’s is gradually fading. This is sad and painful to watch. Thank goodness that she has managed, with the help of her daughters, to produce a wonderful illustrated memoir of her own.
She has been an artist, actor and writer. It’s titled An Eccentric History in Batik, The Art of Dinah Priestley and Tony Burton. Many of her art works are pictured in it, in full colour, along with musings about why each subject interested her. Definitely worth a look.
