The Writers and Readers festival season is upon us! As I have a new book out – Sea Change – I will be taking part in several Festivals. The first is at Mapua which is a lovely festival. I’ve been there before and have always enjoyed this one, at the community library close to the historic wharf, fish smokehouse and restaurant (if they still exist – it’s a few years since I’ve been). I’ll be the closing speaker on Sunday 14th September at 3 pm.
Then next month I’ll be at the Hawkes Bay Festival 10th to 12th of October and then a special Christchurch Word presentation 23rd October in the lovely new Christchurch Library. Tūranga.
Finally in Queenstown for their festival in the first few days of November. It would be lovely to see you there.
I enjoy these festivals, though some writers find them taxing. For me – old and reasonable social, it’s a chance to meet other writers and of course – especially the readers. Do come.
Have written you an email, if I could please have your email address? It’s a fan letter, not spam I promise – wrote it on this comment section initially, but think it had too many ‘blocks’ to post, as I used the blocks as paragraphs, lol
