Roadblocks

The Harbouring adaptation has hit a roadblock. My sister is ill and needs help. Certain things are not negotiable and looking after family or friends are – in my book – more important. So here I am in my sister’s house caring for her and trying to write at an uncomfortable table, peering at the screen,  having left my computer glasses (and my hearing aids) at home in my haste to come down. Both my sister and I are in our eighties, so a bad flu – or is it covid? – are not to be taken lightly. So off to this unfamiliar kitchen to see what comfort food I might rustle up.
